Casual Residential Support Worker

Job Description


Fort St. John Association of Community Living is looking to hire casual Residential Support Workers.

Starting wage is $19.45 with 10.2% paid on all hours worked in lieu of benefits during the probation period.

Excellent benefit and pension plan if you apply and are awarded a permanent position after the probation period.

Experience is an asset but not necessary for this job. We are willing to train you!

* We are looking for energetic guys and girls to be a support to adults with developmental disabilities in doing activities outside and inside their homes.


• A criminal record search (we pay for your search)
• A BC driver’s license
• 2 of your most current work references
• 1st aid and CPR Certificate (you can obtain this in your training period)
• Willing to take our training
• Be at least 19 years of age
• Be available to work a variety of hours (days, evenings and nights) weekdays and weekends as per the Collective Agreement
