Axis Family Resources Ltd. Is currently seeking individuals to come and work with us in our specialized residential services. We provide these services for children, youth and vulnerable adults throughout the North and Interior of B.C. and we are urgently seeking support to keep these essential services in operation during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

At Axis Family Resources Ltd we specialize in providing community-based programs and resources to hundreds of people every day throughout BC. This includes youth, children, families, and adults with developmental disabilities. We offer around the clock care and assistance to ensure the health and well-being of those most vulnerable in our society. Being an essential service, we are actively recruiting temporary youth care and residence workers to assist with staffing shortfalls that may occur due to the COVID-19 response. We are looking for the “Helpers” of society, those who would like to make a difference during this time of need.

Qualifications / Experience:
 - Qualifications in Human Services, Community Services, Education, or Health Care (considered an asset)
 - Experience working or volunteering with children, youth, or adults with developmental disabilities (considered at an asset)

What are the Requirements for This Role?
- Ability to work with individuals with complex needs, medical needs and behavioural challenges
- Approved Criminal Record Check
- Pre-employment drug / alcohol testing 
- Residential Service Worker scheduling consists of 24 hour ‘live in’ shifts. A private bedroom and meal allowance are provided.
