Courier Driver

ViStar Ventures Inc. (a contracted FedEx Ground service provider) is hiring for a delivery route out of Fort St. John to Hudson’s Hope and Chetwynd daily, Monday – Friday 

Requirements of the job are as follows:

Attendance is required at the FedEx Ground Station in Clairmont, Alberta during the FedEx Ground driver application process.

Commercial driving experience of no less than 1 year in a cube truck sized vehicle or larger.  Certainly, an ability to handle winter driving with respect and common sense.

Physical fitness to enable the handling of sometimes heavy freight (1-150 lb) using a hand cart.

Clean drivers abstract, able to pass drug and alcohol testing, and have safety as #1 priority to keep themselves and others safe.

Able to find addresses competently as well as problem solve when things don’t add up.  Able to comfortably call customers with address issues, directions, or acquire alternate delivery instructions.

Must be keen, confident, and capable to work independently and govern oneself fairly and honestly.
